The timing of this Gospel is significant for our parish as we anticipate celebrating our patronal feast on Monday. Mary, Our Lady of Hope, is our mother and intercessor. She was given to us by Jesus so that we could experience her love and care just as He did. I invite you to observe the feast of Our Lady of Hope by praying the rosary.

2 I am grateful that so many of our local fami-lies have chosen a Catholic education for their children. The unique aspect of a Catholic education is that it seeks to nurture the full development of each children in a faith filled environment. This year we are grateful that our new bishop, Bishop Robert Brennan, will be visiting us during Catholic Schools Week. He will spend the morning with us on Tuesday meeting with the parish and academy leadership and visiting the stu-dents. Last year I established the Hope Fund in order to have funding available to assist with cases of necessity among our school community.

3 The fund has been slowly growing over recent months thanks to a few unique charitable gifts from parishioners who wished to assist struggling families with tuition. I would be happy to share additional information to anyone interested in supporting the Hope Fund. Let us pray that this is a blessed week for our school community. In Christ, Fr.
