Strong, sweet odour. WARNING! May be harmful if inhaled. May cause central nervous system depression. May be harmful if swallowed. Aspiration hazard if swallowed - can enter lungs and cause damage. Causes skin and eye irritation. Prolonged or repeated overexposure could cause adverse liver effects. Possible reproductive hazard. Contains MATERIAL that may cause adverse reproductive effects, based on animal data . Possible cancer hazard - contains MATERIAL which may cause cancer. : POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS: : Signs and symptoms of short-term (acute) exposure May cause irritation to the nose, throat and upper respiratory tract. May cause headache, nausea, dizziness and other symptoms of central nervous system depression.

3 Inhalation : Skin May cause mild to moderate irritation. Prolonged contact, such as when trapped against the skin under clothing or jewelry, may be more irritating. May be absorbed through the skin. : Eyes May cause moderate to severe irritation. May be harmful if swallowed. May cause gastrointestinal irritation. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, diziness, drowsiness and other symptoms of central nervous system depression. Aspiration may occur during swallowing or vomiting, resulting in lung injury. Ingestion : Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause skin irritation and dermatitis, due to degreasing properties of the product. Prolonged or repeated overexposure could cause adverse liver effects. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen by qualified medical personnel only. Seek medical attention. : Inhalation SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES Remove contaminated clothing. Wash exposed area thoroughly with soap and water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. Skin contact : If easy to do, remove contact lens, if worn. Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. Eye contact : Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below hips to prevent aspiration of liquid into lungs.

5 Never give anything by mouth if victim is unconscious. Seek immediate medical attention/advice. : Treat symptomatically. : Notes For Physician Fire hazards/conditions of flammability SECTION 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Not flammable under normal conditions of use. Closed containers may rupture if exposed to excess heat or flame due to a build-up of internal pressure. Vapours are heavier than air and collect in confined and low-lying areas. : Flammability classification (OSHA 29 CFR ) : Non-flammable. None. : Oxidizing properties : Not sensitive to mechanical impact. May be sensitive to static discharge. Vapours in the flammable range may be ignited by a static discharge of sufficient energy. 7 Ventilate area of release. Stop the spill at source if it is safe to do so. Use only non-sparking tools and equipment in the clean-up process. Contain and absorb spilled liquid with non-combustible, inert absorbent MATERIAL ( sand), then place absorbent MATERIAL into a container for later disposal (see Section 13). Notify the appropriate authorities as required. : : Prohibited materials Keep away from incompatibles. Do not use combustible absorbents, such as sawdust. Special spill response procedures For large quantities, refer to the environmental authorities. If a spill/release in excess of the EPA reportable quantity is made into the environment, immediately notify the national response center in the United States (phone: 1-800-424-8002). US CERCLA Reportable quantity (RQ): 1,2-Epoxybutane (100 lbs / kg). : Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wear suitable protective equipment during handling. Avoid breathing vapour or mist. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

8 Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep away from acids and other incompatibles. Use proper bonding and grounding techniques when transferring liquid. Keep away from extreme heat and flame. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Empty containers retain residue (liquid and/or vapour) and can be dangerous. Safe Handling procedures : SECTION 7 - HANDLING AND STORAGE Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Store away from incompatible materials. Storage area should be clearly identified, clear of obstruction and accessible only to trained and authorized personnel. Inspect periodically for damage or leaks. No smoking in the area. Keep from freezing. Recommended storage temperature: < 70 C (158 F). Storage requirements : Incompatible materials : Acids; Oxidizing agents; Bases; Reactive metals. 9 Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas. : Respiratory protection : If engineering controls and work practices are not effective in controlling exposure to this MATERIAL , then wear suitable approved respiratory protection. If the TLV is exceeded, a NIOSH/MSHA-approved respirator is advised. Seek advice from respiratory protection specialists. Skin protection : Gloves impervious to the MATERIAL are recommended. Wear as appropriate: Viton; Silver Shield . To protect against splashes from pouring: Nitrile rubber; Neoprene gloves; Butyl rubber. Avoid natural rubber gloves. The suitability for a specific workplace should be discussed with the producers of the protective gloves. Eye / face protection : Chemical splash goggles must be worn when handling this MATERIAL . Wear a chemically resistant apron and long sleeves when dispensing, to prevent skin contact. An eyewash station and SAFETY shower should be made available in the immediate working area.
