Contain fire-fighting water and do not allow fire water to enter drains. Section 6 Accidental Release Measures Accidental Release: In case of spillage it is important to take all steps necessary to: Avoid eye and skin contact and avoid contamination of waterways Procedure for spill Keep all bystanders away. Wear full length clothing and PVC gloves. Reposition any leaking containers so as to minimise further leakage.
4 Dam and absorb spill with an absorbent MATERIAL ( sand or soil). Shovel the absorbed spill into drums. Disposal of the absorbed MATERIAL will depend upon the extent of the spill. For quantities up to 50L of product bury in a secure landfill site. For quantities greater than 50L seek advice from the manufacturer before attempting disposal. Contain in a secure location until disposal method is established. Decontaminate the spill area with detergent and water and rinse with the smallest volume of water practicable. Section 7 Handling and Storage Safe Handling: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30oC (Room Temperature) in original containers, tightly closed.
5 Do not store for prolonged periods in sunlight. Store in a dry secure place away from fertilizers, seed, feed and food. Section 8 Exposure Controls / Personal Protection Exposure Limits: No occupational exposure standards have been set for the ingredients of this product. Exposure Potential: Swallowing and inhalation are unlikely under normal conditions of usage. Significant skin uptake does not occur. This product is diluted with water prior to use as a jetting agent or dip. This diluted form is less toxic by all routes of exposure. Eye Protection: No eye protection is required under normal conditions of use. Skin protection: No specialised skin protection is required. As a good industrial practice it is recommended clean overalls and protective clothing are worn when using this product.

Combustibility Non-combustible Section 10 - Stability and Reactivity Chemical Stability: Product is stable under normal conditions. Section 11 - Toxicological Information Acute Toxicity : This product is unlikely to present a hazard during normal use.
7 Oral: Low Toxicity. Tests on rats using Cyromazine technical, the active ingredient, indicate a low toxicity following single doses of undiluted product. LD50 = 3387 mg/kg, Cyromazine technical. Dermal: Low Toxicity. Tests on rats using Cyromazine technical indicate low toxicity due to skin contact with undiluted product. LD50 = 3100 mg/kg, Cyromazine technical. Inhalation: Low Toxicity. Tests on rats using Cyromazine technical indicate low toxicity due to inhalation of the undiluted product. LD50 (4 hrs) = 2720 mg/m3 Cyromazine technical. Local Effects: Irritation - (Based on studies with Rabbits). Eye: Slight irritant Skin: Slight irritant Sensitisation - (Based on results on guinea-pigs). Skin: Non-sensitiser Poisoning Symptoms: No human poisonings due to this product have been reported.
8 The poisoning symptoms observed in experimental animals were non- specific. Chronic Toxicity: Cyromazine technical has been extensively tested on laboratory mammals and in test-tube systems. No evidence of mutagenic, carcinogenic, teratogenic or reproductive effects was obtained. Section 12 - Ecological Information Cyromazine technical is practically non-toxic to fish and birds and slightly toxic to bees. Section 13 - Disposal Considerations After intended use: The container can be recycled if it is clean, dry, free of visible residues and has the drumMUSTER logo visible. Triple or pressure rinse container for disposal. Dispose of rinsate or any undiluted chemical according to State legislative requirements. Wash outside of the container and the cap. Store cleaned container in a sheltered place with cap removed.
9 It will then be acceptable for recycling at any drumMuster collection or similar container management program site. The cap should not be replaced but may be taken separately.
