Adopted its 2018 Proposed Charges Director Wing-Heier made a motion, seconded by Mr. Hansberry, to adopt the Task Force 's 2018 proposed charges (Attachment XX). The motion passed unanimously. Adopted its Spring National Meeting Minutes Mr. Byrd made a motion, seconded by Mr. Dahlquist, to adopt the Task Force 's April 10 minutes (see NAIC Proceedings . Spring 2017, Workers' Compensation (C) Task Force ). The motion passed unanimously. 2. Heard and Adopted the Report of the NAIC/IAIABC Joint (C) Working Group NAIC staff provided an update on efforts to implement the recommendations contained in the 2016 Workers' Compensation Large Deductible Study that the NAIC/IAIABC Joint (C) Working Group prepared.

10 The Receivership Large Deductible Workers' Compensation (E) Working Group adopted a charge for 2018 to address the recommendations contained in the study. NAIC staff also provided an update on efforts to update the 2009 study An Overview of Workers' Compensation Independent Contractor Regulatory Approaches. Over the summer, the NAIC Legal Division has completed extensive research and created a new table for the updated report. This table contains independent contractor information for all 50 states; the old report only contained 36 states. This information will now be inserted into the Compendium of State Laws and periodically updated by the NAIC Legal Division.
