Find the calibration number for your tire sizefrom the table or determine it by custom calibration. Go to the totaldistance function (a flashing D must show) and hold down both buttonsfor more than two seconds. This shows the calibration numbers. Numbersbegin at 100 and go through 299. There is one sequence of numbers formiles followed by one for kilometers. Miles are indicated by mi in thelower right corner of the display, and kilometers by km. To rapidlyadvance the numbers hold the left button down. To advance one numberat a time, PRESS the left button. When you reach your number, PRESS theright button to leave : If you switch between miles and kilometers, stored data is notconverted to the new units.

This table is based onpopular tire brands and assumes recommended inflation pressure and arider weight of 150 lbs. (68 kg). If your tire size is not included, or if youwant to account for your particular combination of weight, tire pressure, and brand, use the custom calibration get a calibration number for your unique tire circumference you mustmeasure the tire while you ride. To measure this rolling circumferencefirst mark the ground directly below the valve stem when the stem is atits lowest point.
7 Have a helper push you in your normal riding positionuntil the valve stem returns to its lowest point. Make another mark belowthe stem. Measure the distance between the marks. This is your FormulaMiles: Calibration Number = Rolling Circumference in Inches x : If your rolling circumference is inches, then = Rounded to the nearest whole number your calibra-tion number is : Calibration Number = Rolling Circumference in Millimetersx . : If your rolling circumference is 2136 mm then 2136 x .108 = Rounded to the nearest whole number your calibration numberis NUMBERSCALIBRATIONAny Avocet product that fails to meet your expectations of quality or per-formance within two years of purchase will be replaced without repair of Avocet Cyclometers 30 & 31 contact the Authorized ServiceCenter:WARRANTYM ount Bracket.
