3 2021 This year s total enrollment for Fall 2021 is 49,659 students. This fall we welcome 9,065 new undergraduates. This is our largest entering class to date and includes 4,852 women and 2,328 students of color. Total enrollment includes international students from 126 countries, domestic students from all 50 states, and Michigan students from 82 of 83 counties. Undergraduate Entering Class MSU received 50,629 applications, exceeding last year s 45,426 by First time Honors College enrollment is 678 students, comprising percent ofthe entering class. This year s entering class includes 2,328 students of color, which is of the domestic total. Domestic students from outside of Michigan total 1,689 and make up of the entering class.

4 New transfers total 1,276 students, similar to the last two years. Total entering class and transfer enrollment , inclusive of summer admits, is10,341 students, percent of which are from and Graduate Students Total undergraduate enrollment is 38,574 students, up from 38,491 last year. Women make up percent of the total undergraduate enrollment , higherthan recent years. There are 1,836 new degree-seeking graduate students at the master s anddoctoral levels, consistent with the recent historical range. New graduate professional enrollment totals 842 students, up from 794 lastyear. Total graduate enrollment , including graduate professional students, is 11,085students, down from 11,204 last University Total university enrollment for students of color is 11,784 students andaccounts for percent of the domestic student total.
