AXLES AND FLEXAIR UNITS ASSEMBLED BYMERITOR HVS36 MONTHS PARTS AND LABOURE ffective 1st May 1992 The Company warrants that at its option it will repair or replace withoutcharge any original Meritor axle , suspension, trailer component andany axle and suspension assembly which is found on examination by theCompany to be defective as to material or to: such assembly or component having been used solely on avehicle for which the specification and applications have been approvedby the Company s engineering department and in accordance with theapproved applications and the vehicle not having been altered from themanufacturer s warranty and the obligation to repair or exchange are complete andexclusive.

4 No liability is accepted for special or consequentialexpenses/damages of any nature. The warranty does not apply to normalwear and tear, abuse, damage caused by accident, failure to lubricate asspecified in accordance with manufacturer s instructions, and, ifadequate storage facilities and protection are not provided, the damageresulting from deterioration up to the time Meritor products aredelivered to the first for labour will be paid for repair or replacement only asdetermined and APPROVED by Meritor Service Department BEFORESUCH LABOUR HAS claims submitted under this warranty period must be filed in writingwith the Meritor Aftermarket services Division within 60 days from thedate of failure and all components involved in the claim must be retainedand available for inspection

5 For 90 days from the date of claim deductions shall be made from remittances or current accounts inrespect of any warranty claims whilst those claims are being claims must quote component Serial Numbers (where applicable) andrelevant vehicle number identification and also assembly Serial Numberand manufacturing date code where warranty is in substitution for and excludes all express or impliedstatutory or other conditions, warranties, guarantees, or liabilities(whether as to fitness for a particular purpose, quality, standard ofworkmanship or otherwise).

6 Save as provided herein the Companyaccepts no liability whatsoever for defects in parts or for any injury, lossor damage attributable thereto, howsoever arising (whether direct,indirect or consequential).Warranty ProcedureShould any Meritor equipment fitted to your trailer becomeunserviceable within the warranty period, contact the trailermanufacturer or Meritor Service Department who will advise on theappropriate comprehensive network of original parts distributors and servicestations operate throughout Europe.
