1 CA (02/10) Page 1 of 1 CALIFORNIA CHANGES This endorsement modifies insurance coverage provided under the NOT-FOR-PROFIT DEFENDER POLICY. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. COVERAGE PART: GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS PART It is agreed that Section XIII. CANCELLATION AND NON-RENEWAL, paragraphs (B) is amended by the addition of the following: Notice of CANCELLATION will be sent to the producer of record, if applicable, provided that the producer of record is not an employee of the Insurer.

2 It is further agreed that Section XIII. CANCELLATION AND NON-RENEWAL, paragraphs (C) is deleted and replaced by the following: (C) The Insurer is under no obligation to renew this Policy upon its expiration. Upon the Insurer s election to non-renew this Policy, or if the Insurer conditions renewal upon a reduction of the Policy s Limit of Liability, an elimination of coverage or an increase of more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the current Policy s premium, the Insurer will deliver or mail written notice of non-renewal to the Named Insured, at the address listed in ITEM 1 of the Declarations at least sixty (60) days, but not more than one hundred twenty (120)

3 Days, before the Expiration Date set forth in ITEM 2 of the Declarations. The notice will state the reason for non-renewal. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the definition of Loss in any Liability Coverage Part purchased by the Insured, punitive damages are not insurable in California. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE POLICY REMAIN UNCHANGED. THE TITLE OR HEADING TO THIS ENDORSEMENT IS INCLUDED SOLELY FOR EASE OF REFERENCE AND DOES NOT IN ANY WAY LIMIT, EXPAND, INTERPRET OR OTHERWISE AFFECT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ENDORSEMENT.
