3 NEW MindManager Snap Map Part Sharing Save map parts and share them with others using MindManager Snap. Just drag and drop branches or selected content into the queue to save it to MindManager Snap or share it with others you have added as collaborators. New Status Overlay Never miss important information about map status with the new status overlay system that consolidates all information into one compact display. Information displayed includes read/edit status, co-editing connection status, save status, publishing status, content control status, filter status, and more. You can also change the display location or hide the status overlay to best suit your needs. Improved Spellchecker and AutoCorrect MindManager now uses the Windows API for Spell Check and AutoCorrect. Improved Slides Single clicking a slide selects the slide, Double clicking the slide opens the editor. New Slides are added beneath the currently selected slide. Improved Application Performance Saving and Auto Recovery Snapshots o Saving performance has been improved.

4 O When Auto Recovery Snapshots are being captured, a dialogue now is shown on the screen displaying the progress (Applies to files 20MB+ in size). Filtering o Applying and removing filters is now ~50% faster. Drag and Drop o Dragging and Dropping Topics and branches in large maps is now ~50% faster. SmartRules o The SmartRules Engine has been enhanced to only listen for triggers in active rules. Faster Slides Performance o Reordering of Slides in Decks is faster. o Playing a slide show is faster. 5 Task Information / Gantt Pro Tasks are now sorted by map order in the Gantt Pro resource grid. Links The Enter key now applies to the Ok button in the Add Link dialogue box. Previously, the Enter key applied to the Advanced button. Co-Editing Summary: Several enhancements have been made to Co-Editing to improve performance, formatting issues, and application stability. Microsoft Word Add-in Issue: Images failed to import from Microsoft Word documents when using MindManager 32-bit. Resolution: Fixed. Issue: The export to Word failed when using the Save-as command choosing docx format. Resolution: Fixed. Issue: Extra spacing and indentation is added to Topic Notes when importing from Word or exporting to Word.

6 Resolution: Fixed. Background Objects Issue: Background Objects and Images copied to the Clipboard fail to Paste. Resolution: Fixed. Issue: The format painter does not work correctly with SmartShapes. Resolution: Fixed. Tag View Issue: MindManager crashes when rearranging columns when the tags are from the General Tags group. Resolution: Fixed. Slides / Decks Issue: MindManager may crash when editing slides and using the Undo/Redo commands. Resolution: Fixed. Issue: When double-clicking a slide in a deck, the wrong slide is selected. Resolution: Fixed. Excel Export Issue: Font Colors and effects appear to be misaligned when exporting to Excel. Resolution: Fixed. MindManager Windows Release Notes : Version 2022 Corel Corporation 9 Excel Import (Data Mapper) Issue: Task dates imported from Spreadsheets are imported as a Boolean value. Resolution: Fixed. Gantt Pro Issue: Unhanded Exception error may appear when changing task duration units.

7 Resolution: Fixed. Issue: Incorrect dates are displayed in Gantt Pro when adding milestones to topics and applying Task Roll up. Resolution: Fixed. Issue: Switching between the Outline view and Linked Map View may crash MindManager Resolution: Fixed. Topic Notes : Issue: Images copied to the clipboard fail to paste in Topic Notes . Resolution: Fixed. Spell Checker Issue: The check spelling as you type setting is ignored and MindManager checks spelling for every character entered, which results in slow application performance. Outlook Issue: Sending calendar items from Outlook to MM in a freeform map crashes Outlook Resolution: Fixed. Issue: Incorrect user interface Icons are displayed in the Outlook Query dialogue. Resolution: Fixed. Outline View Issue: MindManager may crash when applying numbering in Outline view.

8 Resolution: Fixed. Background Objects Issue: The format painter does not work with SmartShape elements ( , cells in the table SmartShape) Resolution: Fixed. Issue: Default title numbers are incorrect when adding child elements to SmartShapes. Resolution: Fixed. Slides Issue: When saving Slide Decks to places, the file extension is incorrectly set to mmap. Resolution: The file extension is now correctly saved as mdeck. Issue: The option to ignore SmartRules for topics in Slides is grayed out. Resolution: Fixed. Issue: The option to ignore SmartRules for topics in Slides is disabled. Resolution: Fixed. Search Issue: MindManager may crash when searching for content in closed maps Resolution: Fixed MindManager Windows Release Notes : Version 2022 Corel Corporation 11 KN O W N I S S U E S IN M I N D M A N A G E R 22 Objects Issue: Relationship connectors between Topics and Objects or between Objects and Objects are removed when the map is opened & saved in older versions of MindManager for Windows and Mac.

9 Workaround: None. Do not save the map in older versions of MM or make a copy of the original before editing in older versions. Slides Issue: MindManager may crash when applying Fixed Topic Size formatting to topics in the Slide editor. Workaround: None. Issue: MindManager may crash when performing undo and redo commands in the Slide editor.
