2 Genoa has many different facets; at once a modern metropolis and a rigorous custodian of artistic heritage, as well as an industrious marketplace with centuries-old parks, perfect for is the third-largest city in Italy and it s historic city centre is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enclosing 27 centuries of history. In the immediate vicinity of Naples are numerous culturally and historically significant sites, including the Palace of Caserta and the Roman ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Blessed with centuries of culinary know-how, the Naples region is one of Italy s epicurean heavyweights, serving up the country s best pizza, pasta and coffee, and many of its most celebrated seafood dishes, street snacks and sweet a few kilometres from the Italian mainland, Messina sits on a curved harbour at the northernmost point of Sicily s Ionian Coast.

3 For centuries it has been a major transport hub and today it s an important gateway to and from the island. Messina is home to one of Sicily s finest cathedrals, an engaging art museum, wide boulevards and elegant turn-of-the-century buildings. WEDNESDAYThe ship berths in Malta at 08:00am. will meet with our Maltese Tour Leader at Forni Magazino Terminal at from where we will embark on the MSC Sea. MSC SEAVIEW is the second of two identical ships in the Seaside generation. At 323 metres long with a GRT of 154,000 tonnes, the ship will feature a maximum capacity of 5,179 by a pioneering beach condo concept, MSC SEAVIEW will bring guests and the sea closer, with special design elements that make the most of the warmer weather. Guests will be able to spend time outdoors eating, drinking and relaxing in the Mediterranean sunshine with some of the best sea views in the world. Guests will also enjoy an increased number of balcony cabins, sea views and public areas, with every element carefully planned to make the most of the sea and the unique design feature of MSC SEAVIEW is the impressive 360 promenade with glass balustrades that runs around the entire ship.

4 This stunning public space will act as a lively recreation area where guests can stroll in the open air, eat and drink al fresco from a variety of bars and restaurants or shop in the boutiques, all the while providing spectacular sea views as far as the eye can , the cosmopolitan capital of Spain s Catalonia region, is defined by quirky art and architecture, imaginative food and vibrant street life. It has medieval roots, seen in the maze-like Gothic Quarter, but a modernist personality represented by architect Antoni Gaud s fantastical Sagrada Fam lia church. Its restaurant scene, anchored by the central Boqueria market, ranges from fine dining to tiny tapas bars. 5 GENOA - GOA01 TPortofinoAdult 59 / Child 42 (3-13 yrs) Duration: approx. 4 hoursThis tour is rich in scenery and offers a chance to enjoy this lush section of the Italian Riviera. The tour begins with a 45-minute coach ride to Santa Margherita Ligure before a 10-minute boat ride to Portofino.

5 Here we will have time at leisure to explore this delightful seaside town, to take pictures or relax in the chic caf s. We will continue by boat to Santa Margherita, from where we will return to Genoa and to the ship. Please note: this tour is available only in October and only for guests in transit in Genoa port. The feasibility of the tour depends on weather conditions; have it reconfirmed during your cruise. In case of bad weather the transfer from Santa Margherita to Portofino and vice versa will take place by minibus. This tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair. The Tour Leader will only be present on these excursions, once a minimum of 30 persons has been reached. Otherwise you will be accompanied by an MSC representative. Excursions may be booked from our office, when making final payment. MSC reserve the right to revise the excursion prices at their own discretion after publication of this brochure.

We will begin our excursion with a visit to the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde which stands majestically on top of a hill. The Cathedral is made up of a lower and an upper church and was built on the site of an ancient chapel. Continue along the Corniche (coast road) where we will admire Borely Castle and garden (no inside visit). The excursion includes sightseeing in the centre of Marseilles and photos at Longchamps Palace before enjoying some free time in the Vieux Port (old port).

Upon leaving the port, your tour begins with a drive through Barcelona s main streets and squares. A short stop will be made at Montjuich Hill to take in the superb view over the city before moving on for a brief external viewing of the Sagrada Fam lia, Gaud s striking yet unfinished neo-Gothic masterpiece. There will also be time to pass by the impressive Barcelona Cathedral, which was built from the end of the 13th until into the 15th century, before taking you to go shopping in the Pla a de Catalunya, a large square in central Barcelona that is ideal for a little retail therapy.

9 Your return journey to Genoa. Please note: this tour is available from June calls through all September and is only for guests in transit in Genoa port. Weather conditions will dictate if the tour is feasible, so please have the tour reconfirmed during your cruise. Should bad weather prevail, you will perform the tour with program of tour code GOA01T. A coach will take you from Genoa to Santa Margherita Ligure where you will embark on a boat or a minibus to Portofino and vice versa. This tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair. NAPLES - NAP03 Capri Island Tour Adult 85 / Child 62 (3-13 yrs)Duration: approx. 5 hoursSituated just a short ferry or hydrofoil transfer from the Bay of Naples, the beautiful island of Capri awaits you on this enchanting island tour. After docking at the Marina Grande on the north side of the island, you will board a minibus to reach Anacapri, your first introduction on the Capri-style life.

10 Enjoy some free time to stroll the cosy streets for shopping before reaching the splendid Villa San Michele, which was built by the Swedish physician Dr. Munthe at the turn of the 20th century and affords gorgeous views of the island and the sea beyond. Next, you will board the minibus to reach Capri town to have some free time to explore the charming streets that surround the famous Piazza Umberto I or, if you wish, to visit Augustus Gardens on your own (price not included) offering enchanting views over the iconic Faraglioni. A minibus ride will take you back to the port where to board the ferry or a hydrofoil for your return journey to the port of Naples. Please note: the transfer to Capri may be on a public or a private hydrofoil/catamaran. The excursion does not operate from November to February (inclusive).
