2 It can only be issued to adults and only to the person who is the owner or keeper of the animal . 1. An application for a permit must be requested every 12 months. 2. New residents must apply for a permit within 30 days of residing in Cudahy. The application requires the following: 1. Proof of public liability insurance for $100, per single injury. 2. Two identical color photographs of the dog clearly showing color and size of the animal . 3. Proof of micro-chipping. 4. Photo identification of each owner. 5. An annual $50 permit fee for each pit bull. ORDINANCE DETAILS. 1. Owner must post Beware of Dog sign. 2. Pit bulls/mixes may only be walked by an adult owner on a 4' leash. 3. Outdoor enclosures must have all 4 sides, a bottom and top. Completely enclosed. 4. Pit bulls must wear a bright orange collar. 5. Any offspring from a pit bull or pit bull mix must be removed from Cudahy by 6 weeks of age.
3 In addition to this, it is recommended that if you are driving through Cudahy with a pit bull, you should contact the Chief of Police to alert him of your travel plans. Milwaukee , WI (414) 649-8640 PIT BULL/ROTTWEILER ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS. This applies to any Animals that are one half or more pit bull or Rottweiler. 1. A person must be at least 16yrs old and physically able to control the dog. 2. Owners must attend a Responsible Pet Ownership Course. 3. Owners home must have a fence that is sufficient to contain the dog. Height is determined on a case-by-case basis by an inspector. Fence must be made out of something that cannot be climbed or dug under. The fence must be set at least 3. feet from any alley, sidewalk or other public right of way. 4. If there is no fence, then owners must install a kennel sufficient to contain the dog. It must have a concrete floor. The same fencing/containment requirements as above.

Regulated dogs include (Staffordshire bull terriers, APBT, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Mastiff breeds or any combination of the breeds above). 1. Regulated dogs shall be securely confined indoors or in an enclosed and locked pen or kennel. 2. If the dog is outside of its enclosure it must be on a 4' leash and muzzled by a muzzling device sufficient to prevent such dog from biting people or other dogs. 3. Owners must carry an insurance policy of $500, for bodily injury or death and $1,000,000 for property damage per incident. 4. Regulated dogs must be registered within 30 days of acquiring the dog. Owners must include two color photographs showing color and size of the dog. 5. Offspring from regulated dogs must be removed from Butler within 6 weeks of age.
6 All litters must be reported to the Village. Oconomowoc, WI (262) 569-2186 VICIOUS DOG REGULATION. Oconomowoc deems that any dog registered as a pit bull dog is a dangerous dog and is subject to the requirements of the vicious dog ordinance. 1. While dog is on owner's property it was be inside or in a securely enclosed and locked pen with chain-link fencing on all 4. sides and top. The bottom must also be attached on imbedded in the ground no less than 2 feet. There must also be a sign stating Warning-Vicious animal ' at all entrances and also on the dog's kennel or pen. 2. While off the property with the owner, the dog must be muzzled and on a 4' leash. 3. No vicious Animals may be sold or transferred without first notifying the police department in writing at least 3 days in advance of the sale or transfer.
