With the new SOLAS VGM law being implemented on the 1stof July 2016, MYMSC will provide you with a quick and efficient online solution to submitting VGM details. 2 You can register for the application in two ways: Visit and click on MYMSC from the main menu. Connect directly to the portal here: Select Register -New User Enter the Verification code Copyright MSC mediterranean shipping company 5 REGISTER Copyright MSC mediterranean shipping company 6To Register for MYMSC , please complete the following steps; Enter your company contact details including your name and email address Select which MSC offices you wish to register with or select VGM only Read the Privacy Policy. You must accept this policy to use the system Check all information is correct, then Submit your registration for approvalDASHBOARDThe home screen is your dashboard where you can see an overview of all your recent shipments with here you can use the navigation menu to access any area of MYMSC . 3 Upload your weight instructions. To do this, start by clicking the download template button. Use this to input your weight instructions and save to your computer. You can upload additional supporting documents by clicking on the green icon with the arrow. Once uploaded check the details have pulled through correctly then click Submit . SOLAS VGM SUBMIT VGM IN BULK Copyright MSC mediterranean shipping company 15 Through this feature, VGM details can be uploaded for multiple Booking/BLs. Similar to the feature in SUBMIT VGM INSTRUCTION , the template needs to be downloaded, the relevant data needs to be entered in the File, save the file in the local machine and upload the file through the button Upload Excel . 6 To search for different B/L click on Reset. DOCUMENTS BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS To search for booking confirmations, enter the booking number and click Retrieve . To search for another NVOCC AMS Declaration Status click Reset . Vessel Port InformationSearch all vessel arrivals and departures for a particular port. Empty Depot Return LocationShows the depot or terminal were the empty container is to be returned for merchant own haulage. Information relevant only to appropriate BILL OF LADING CONTAINER STATUS To track a shipment you can search by Bill of Lading number to show all container status information. The information given is then available to download and print.
