The development of this Guidance has considered lessons identified from recent majorincidents and event responses across England, the UK and wider global events in additionto the updated practice among our Police and Fire and Rescue Service aim of the Guidance is to assist the Ambulance Commander in taking appropriate andconsistent considerations to inform decision making, based on sound risk management inmaking consistent and informed decisions based on the information available at the is important to recognise and thankthe individuals who contributed to thedevelopment of this Guidance.
