Records from all institutions: The NAIA eligibility center requires school stamped copies of all academic records from any high school, continuing secondary, university, post-secondary course, etc.

Attended. This includes records from all secondary schools, upper secondary schools, Sixth Form Colleges, community colleges, universities, institutes, or post-secondary institutions that a student has ever attended (even if a student started coursework for which they did not complete). 2.) Official records: Academic records must be sealed in a (school) envelope stamped on the flap by the student s institution. Only institutions may make school-stamped copies of official documents, place them in a school envelope and stamp and seal the envelope. A student or parent can then mail the school sealed envelope but it must be apparent that the school was the last to handle the documents. 3.) Forwarding international records from the NAIA school: NAIA member institution s Registrar s or Admissions Offices can forward international high school records on behalf of students.

However, the Registrar s or Admissions Office must make a school stamped copy of the documents and include a letter confirming how they received the documents. If the records on file at the NAIA institution are not a complete record as required by the NAIA eligibility center , the student may still need to have additional documentation forwarded on their behalf from their international institutions. Class rank letters and post-secondary transcripts cannot be sent in this manner. 4.) Original language documents and translations: Academic records must be sent in BOTH the original language of issuance AND a literal English translation. Translations need to be accurate, literal and word-for-word of the original record.

Official translations from certified agencies are not required, but inaccurate translations will cause delays in the processing of records. Schools can translate records. 5.) Class Rank Letters: For high school students using the class rank requirement, the Principal or Headmaster should include an originally signed Class Rank Cover Sheet along with a letter on official school letterhead that confirms the student s final numerical rank out of the total number of students in the school s graduating class based on cumulative grade averages. 6.) Unofficial records: Emailed or faxed documents will not be accepted. Documents sent by students, parents, recruiters or coaches not in a school-sealed envelope will not be accepted.

Credential evaluations (ECE, WES, IES etc.) are not accepted in lieu of school-stamped copies of original records. However, WES ICAP reports are accepted as official records (the ICAP service includes certified copies of official records). NOTE 1: Documents sent to the NAIA eligibility center are in addition to documents you send to the NAIA school to which you are applying. Your NAIA school may have additional requirements, so be sure to check with their Admissions Office about any other documents or test scores needed. NOTE 2: The NAIA eligibility center does not send documents back to students or onto third parties (including NAIA schools). Therefore, do not send your original certificates or transcripts if they are your only official copy.

Instead, the NAIA eligibility center accepts school-stamped copies (unless noted otherwise below). Questions?
