In between the two a pair of weak disturbances is moving south from British Columbia into Montana and Wyoming bringing more snowfall to the mountains and a mix or rain and snow to the valleys. By Saturday, the first of the two systems will begin tapping onto another surge of Arctic air as it moves east southeast across the Great Plains toward the Great lakes.
