It soon took over as thestandard for recording orifice , it is still widely used. The M6A isusually supported in the vertical metertubing from the orifice flange union. Staticpressure and calibration test connectionsare standard.

2 The unit is available withintegral tube fittings, if pressure transmitter accuracyand stability have improved, resulting intheir broader use for Natural gas mea-surement in production and meet the requirements for differentialpressure transmitter applications, theM6T (pipe x flange) and M6TA (flange xflange) were designed to provide the fam-ily of M6A, M6T, M6TA for various Natural gas measurement fieldresearch has shown that better accuracyresults when the transmitter is installeddirectly on the orifice flanges or orifice fit-ting. Anderson Greenwood has designeda family of Manifolds and installation con-figurations to meet the more accurateinstallations and users to ACCU-Mount and BenefitsM6A Easy Installation.

3 The lightweight M6 Ais easily installed in meter tubing. Noadditional support is generally required. Upstream or downstream 1/4-inchFNPT ports are standard for connect-ing the static pressure to the meter. Available with soft or hard seats are easily replaced in thefield in the event of damage fromhydrated or sand. Soft seats are toler-ant to much abuse from sand, grit, bubble-tight. Bonnet-to-body and stem threadsare isolated from process corrosion important in sour gas applications. Stem backout preventioneliminatesaccidental removal while under pressure. Stem packingis standard Viton O-ring with TFE back-up ring with longlife assured by mirror finish on stem inthe packing area.

4 Integral hard backseatforms a sec-ondary seal for the stem threads whenvalve is fully opened. Stem threadsare rolled (not cut) toincrease strength and longer life. Either single or double ferrule tubefittingsare available integral to thebody. This reduces potential and M6TA Same features and benefits as theM6 Aplus the following. May be pipestand mountedusingthe appropriate AGCO Mount Kit. Thisallows the manifold to be mountedprior to receipt of transmitter. Makes iteasier and quicker to remove thetransmitter for servicing since it isattached only to the manifold andpower Greenwood Manifolds CatalogFlow, Static Pressure, and Liquid Level Manifolds 1998, Rev.
