Purpose. To reconcile local Mishap logs with Web Enabled Safety System (WESS) reports, revise property damage cost thresholds, and update references.

3 A. Add sub-paragraph to include: Activities must confirm successful submission of all recordable and reportable Mishap data to the WESS database, within 60 days of the end of the fiscal year. In case of discrepancies, contact the COMNAVSAFECEN WESS help desk for assistance. b. Modify paragraph to include: Activities must ensure that their local annual summary data (OSHA-300A or equivalent) matches the WESS annual summary data. This is to be accomplished within 60 days of the end of the fiscal year.
