1 Nebraska iowa Electrical Council code Classes fall 2017 general information Times: All Classes will meet from 9:00 - Noon and 1:00 - 4:00 except the October class in Omaha which will start at 8:30 Notes: Nebraska : All licenses expire December 31, 2018. You must complete all twelve (12) hours of continuing education by that date or retake the test. There is no grace period. iowa : You have until December 31, 2019 to complete all eighteen (18) hours of continuing education or retake the test. There is no grace period.

2 Cost: NIEC Member companies' employees - $ per person per class Non-member companies' employees - $ per person per class Class Locations: On our website ( ), there is a link to a map that shows the exact location of each class. Continuing Education Credit: Each seminar has been approved by the Nebraska State Electrical Board and by the iowa Electrical Examining Board for six hours of continuing education credit in the code . All Classes count as code HOURS. In each state, you are required to take a minimum of six hours in the NEC, but you may take all of your hours in the NEC.

3 You may take any class more than once and get full credit. Minimum Enrollment: Each seminar has a minimum enrollment requirement of 25 people. As soon as we reach that number, we will update the website to indicate that the class is a "go". Confirmation: No confirmation letters will be sent. If you provide an email address, we will send you an email the week of the class as a reminder and to notify you of any changes. If you pay by credit card, you may pick up your credit card receipt when you check in for the class.
