REI is pleased to announce the ANDRE DELUXE featuring three new antenna attachments and a variety of accessories to make your investigations easier and more AntennasDirectional (70 MHz - 500 MHz)The directional antenna is used for tactical applications to detect and locate strong, low frequency (15 kHz - 80 kHz)The ultrasonic probe detects high frequency audio jamming.
Using the ANDRE audio input, this new antenna detects ultrasonic jammers and Converting (500 MHz - 12 GHz)The high frequency down converter replaces the log periodic in the ANDRE Advanced. This antenna extends the ANDRE 's frequency range to 12 AccessoriesTripod and standThe tripod and stand allow you to mount any ANDRE antenna for in-place handleThe boom extension handle extends your reach by 6 feet ( meters).NEW ANDRE DELUXEP owered Connector CablesNew 5 ft. and 9 ft. probe connector cables are included to supply power to new DELUXE antennas as well as passive connectivity to existing DELUXE CONT'DThe ANDRE DELUXE comes installed with the newest ANDRE firmware upgrade.
This firmware provides behind-the-scenes performance enhancements. In addition, users will be able to select between AM and FM audio demodulation and run the ANDRE in low power mode for better connectivity to certain FeaturesData LoggingThe data logging function captures the ANDRE 's histogram data for extended periods of time. With power level and frequency information included, the data logger has three optional modes: 250 hours at 500 msec resolution 25 hours at 50 msec resolution (default) 30 minutes at 1 msec resolutionData ViewerThe Data Viewer is a PC application that allows you to download and review the data logging files captured on your ANDRE (see example below).
Viewing the data log from the ANDRE on the Data Viewer provides unique evaluation tools including FFT for idenitifying transmission more about the ANDRE DELUXE at the REI website. An upgrade path is available for current ANDRE Advanced and Basic owners. If you are interested in upgrading your ANDRE to a DELUXE , complete this form. ANDRE training classes are available throughout the year. ANDRE training is also covered in the Countermeasures Core Level 1 Course. Visit the Training Center for more VIEWER SOFTWAREThis Data Viewer graph shows 16 minutes of signal activity captured by the ANDRE DELUXE Data Logging feature.
Moving the cursor anywhere in the timeline displays signal details in the Cursor Info window (amplitude, frequency, timestamp, probe, etc.). Also shown is the Detailed Frequency Band Information dialog box. 3 Have you attended REI's Training Center? If so, you can add those training courses to your LinkedIn profile under the Certifications section. This communicates to peers and potential employers that you've successfully completed technical security training at the world's largest commercial center. Here's how:After logging in to LinkedIn, view your profile.
In the upper right hand corner, you should see Add Profile Section Under the Accomplishments dropdown, there is a Certifications option. Select the plus will be presented with this screen. List the course title under Certification Name and under Certification Authority you can type in Research Electronics International make sure to select our company from the dropdown list. REI training certificates are valid for one calendar year. You can add a certification for each REI course you complete!REIADD REI TRAINING TO YOUR LINKEDIN PROFILEREI ADVANCES INTERNAL TECHNOLOGYREI uses PnP (Pick and Place) machines to manufacture the circuit boards used in REI products.
By upgrading these machines, REI is committed to providing the best technolgically advanced products possible in the near technology continues to evolve, circuit boards require more components to fit into condensed areas. Similarly, as REI s products have evolved, the need for more modern boards has reached a point that exceeds the capacity of the older PnP machines. Alongside the new PnP machines, REI is also investing in a new AOI, or Automated Optical Inspector. The new AOI features an improved 3D imaging system that accurately notifies production employees of possible quality faults.
Additionally, it reduces the number of false positives that must be manually checked by REI employees, creating a more efficient manufacturing , these production technology upgrades benefit REI s customers by providing future products with increased quality and advanced technologies. REIA. Physical Line TestThe LINE and PHONE ports on the TALAN input panel are used when testing conductivity of analog, digital and VoIP cable conductors. This is where DMM, NLJD, FDR and other line tests can check for conductive anomalies on VoIP cables. B. VoIP Data TestThe Ethernet port on the lower right side of the TALAN is used to connect an Ethernet cable to test VoIP data traffic with the VoIP Plus+ software feature on the TALAN The VoIP Test Adapter (shown here) provides an in-line passive connection to VoIP new input panel "LINE" and "PHONE" ports on the TALAN eliminate the need for the yellow Ethernet [VoIP] Cable Adapter (shown below) that came with earlier models.
This cable adapter was used to test in-line VoIP wiring. Factory shipped TALAN do not include this cable adapter, and it should be discarded on TALANs that receive the upgrade. IMPORTANT: Using the Ethernet [VoIP] Cable Adapter with the TALAN (including TALAN upgrades) may result in poor performance and could damage the TALAN and/or the phone Technical Bulletin is available with more details regarding TALAN cable alignment.
