Non-Food Stall

24 Dear Christmas it will be six months since I have taken charge as President of Catholic Club. Although I have been a member of the Club for many years and part of the Managing Commit-tee for a few I am still on a learning curve as to how this great Club of ours functions. What has become very clear to me is that it would not be as successful as it is without the dedication and hard work of the Managing Committee, the Advisory Committees, Executives & Sta who administer our day to day functioning. I am sure when we look around many of us will be proud of the way in which the Club has grown over the years.

1 24 Dear Christmas it will be six months since I have taken charge as President of Catholic Club.

2 I would very much like to thank each and every one of you, members, for the support and encouragement you gave to me and my com-mittee during the past few months with your patronage and participation in all club events. It is a true privilege and honour to be at the helm of a club which, in my humble opinion, is well on its way to becoming one of Bangalore s best Clubs. Many believe it is already the best! After a hectic last week of October, with three back to back shows, November was low on entertainment. Apart from the weekend shows on Fridays and Saturdays we did not have any big events, but there was plenty happening in the other departments which more than made up for the lack of any major showThe rst ever IPL style Cricket Tournament was literally a big hit, the big hitters helping their team to win the maiden CC Cricket League Trophy.

3 This event was well attended and cheered on by the spectators the four teams fought for the maiden title and the best team won. The Soul Sisters Karaoke Craze and Sassy Seniors Diwali Delights were shows which lived upto expectations and were thoroughly enjoyed by the ladies and seniors. The senior s event was held by the poolside for the rst time ever. The Library had iKidz Young Readers and iBrowse events with more than 100 participants at each of these events. Besides this there was also the Annual Romp Run, Bumper Housie, Bumper Rummy Knock Out etc.

4 Which was all well will be back with a bang and will be at its peak in the month of December with a variety of programs to cater to all age groups. There is something happening everyday so please refer to the program brochure which will give you details of all the Also check out details of the lucky draw where members can win Rs. 10000/- every day in December, a small gesture of saying thank you dear members for all your support. With so much happening make sure you are there with family and is one event which is very dear to many members of our Club, The Children s Christmas Party organised by the Catholic Club Orphans Trust (CCOT).

5 This year we have invited more than 750 children who will spend an entire day at the club. It is by no means an easy task to organize this event and ensure that the children have a good time and without the support of members it would not be possible. CCOT will need all the help it can get in meeting the expenses to conduct this party so please be generous with your donations and gifts. On behalf of the CCOT I take this opportunity to invite you all to join us and the children and see for yourselves how wonderful it is to see the children smile and how thankful we are for the donations that make it happen year after is also that time of the year when we say thank you and I would like to thank our hardworking Committee.
