1 NORTH OTAGO pony club Springston Trophy 5th 7th October 2018 Newsletter 2 March 2018 Welcome to Springston Trophy 2018 NORTH OTAGO pony club welcomes all South Island pony Clubs to participate in Springston Trophy thisyear. We are thrilled to be hosting this event considering it is our 70th anniversary. We are also so happy to have Mitavite as the premier sponsor for this occasion. In return we ask thatall pony clubs support Mitavite s Advocate Program which is designed to grow the knowledge of ourequestrians about feed and nutrition for horses. Each team which has the most members of their ponyclub complete the Advocate Program will go into a draw for a fantastic prize.

2 The Mitavite Advocate Program ( ) is a free educational online your knowledge about equine nutrition and best feeding practices to not only help you care forhorses in your care, but help your horses achieve their full potential or just simply enjoy a long and a manufacturer of premium feeds and supplements, Mitavite are committed to sharing knowledge andeducating all those involved in the wider equestrian to register for the program & get started today!The club was been very busy with the revamping of our cross country course. More work is still inprogress for us to present an exciting and inviting NominationsTeam Nominations close on Friday 22nd June 2018 and must be on the official Nomination Formaccompanied by non-refundable nomination fee of $ per team.

3 The nomination form is nowavailable on the website and attached to this ConfirmationFinal confirmations of teams close Friday 17th August 2018 and must be accompanied by the entry feeof $ per team. This fee is additional to the nomination fee of $ entries must be on an official form and signed by all concerned, certifying that team membersare qualified to enter in accordance with Rule 6. If team entries do exceed our maximum number tocater for, Branches with second team entries may be placed on a ballot. The Two Age Group Team option is available for clubs who are unable to field a full conventional team(Please see Appendix B of the rules).

4 Composite teams (See Appendix A) are required to have the signature of their nearest Guardian, whois expected to oversee and approve proposed composite teams. Composite team names must includeup to three of the majority Branch names.
