2 Oversee the process of determining eligibility for public housing and/or leased housing programs; assignapartments; ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the development s financial records; develop budget estimatesfor development operation; monitor operational expenditures, including overtime usage, purchasing, initiating ofnew contracts and usage of existing contracts; inspect housing development properties; monitor the progress andquality of work performed by private contractors; secure public and private agency cooperation; may supervisethe operation of an administrative unit or act as staff assistant to an Authority executive. 3 THE SALARY: The current minimum salary is $57,729 per annum. 6 This guide gives important information about requesting analternate test date because of religious observance or a special test accommodation for disability, claimingVeterans' or Legacy credit, and notifying DCAS of a change in your mailing address. Follow all instructions onthe Special Circumstances Guide that pertain to you when you complete your "Application for Examination."HOW TO QUALIFY: You may be given the test before we verify your qualifications. You are responsible fordetermining whether or not you meet the qualification requirements for this examination prior to submitting yourapplication. If you are marked "Not Qualified," your application fee will not be refunded and you will not receivea and Experience baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, and three years of full-time satisfactorysupervisory and/or administrative experience in housing management at a development or developmentscontaining at least 150 apartments, including overseeing the performance of duties such as: interviewingapplicants, determining eligibility; gathering and evaluating information to resolve complaints; collectingrents; and/or resolving tenant related problems.

7 Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of the full-time satisfactoryexperience as described in 1" above; satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience as described in 1" or 2" college credits may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits froman accredited college or university for one year of full-time satisfactory experience. However, allcandidates must have a four-year high school diploma or its educational education requirement must be met by January 31, 2018. The experience requirement must be metby the last day of the Application Period (November 21, 2017).The high school diploma or its educational equivalent must be approved by a State's Department of Education ora recognized accrediting organization.

8 The college or university must be accredited by regional, national,professional, or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the Secretary of Education and bythe Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).If you were educated outside the United States, you must have your foreign education evaluated to determineits equivalence to education obtained in the United States. This is required only if you need credit for yourforeign education in this must clearly specify in detail all of your relevant education and experience on your Education andExperience Test and submit it by the end of the Application Period. If you are currently employed by the Cityof New york , do not assume that persons reviewing your Education and Experience Test will know informationwhich you do not provide on your Education and Experience Test, including information about your current you have applied for a previous examination, do not assume that persons reviewing your Education andExperience Test will know about information you provided on a previous Education and Experience will not receive credit for education which you obtain after January 31, 2018 or experience which you obtainafter the end of the Application : New york city residency is not required for this Requirement.
