In addition, the PIR occupancysensor facilitates trending of floor space usage inthese models of the NS Series Network Sensorsare available with a backlit LCD fixed segmentdisplay or a full color graphical LCD interface. Thesemodels allow the user to view zone temperature,RH, CO2, and adjust the zone temperature setpointand fan speed. Graphical models provide asummary of sensor values at the base of the segment models have the capability to set thedefault display to temperature, RH, or user can also choose between degreesFahrenheit (F) and degrees Celsius (C). To preventtampering with the sensor, display models alsoinclude a screen lockout feature. The graphicaldisplay enables the user to choose between a lightor dark color theme and to set the sleep mode todim or turn models also have a Warmer/Cooler interfaceto adjust the zone temperature. Instead of adisplay, these models have two cap touch buttonswith seven LED lights that represent the display models include the followingfan speeds: automatic, off, low, medium, or with the sensor sets the occupancyoverride function to signal to the controller thatthe zone is occupied and to override the scheduledmode.

The full color graphical LCD models use theNS8000 Series Network Sensors Catalog PageLIT-1901099 2021-09-20graphical user interface to set a unique BACnet address for applications that require multiplesensors. Other models have DIP switches to seta unique address for applications that requiremultiple Sensors . All models ship standard withmodular phone jacks and screw terminals toterminate wiring connecting the Sensors to : To connect the NS Series Network Sensorto the same SA bus segment, use only oneof the two connection methods, either themodular phone jack or the screw Network sensor includes a SA bus accessport, allowing for accessories to connect to theSA bus. Through this connector, the user can useaccessories to service or commission the connectedcontroller or gain access to any other controller onthe same field controller (FC) : Device programming for the NS8000sensor connected to the controller does notinclude balancing functionality and NS Series Network Sensors can be surfacemounted or vertical wallbox mounted to meet therequirements of the specific application.

All displaymodels are optimized for the California Energy Code(Title 24). To suit specific architectural and interiordesign needs, the models come with either black orwhite enclosures in black or white design themesare available in the following styles: LCD fixed segment and LCD full color graphicaldisplays: view zone temperature, RH, CO2,occupancy status, and adjust the zonetemperature setpoint and fan speed. Thesemodels have the capability to set the defaultdisplay to temperature, RH, or temperaturesetpoint. On these display models, you can alsochoose between degrees Fahrenheit (F) anddegrees Celsius (C). Warmer/Cooler interface: this interfaceincorporates cap touch buttons with seven LEDlights that represent the current setpoint status. No display: the NS Series Network Sensors areavailable in high gloss black or white with orwithout the Johnson Controls logo. All Sensors are serialized for quality and warrantypurposes. Based on the serial number, the usercan obtain factory calibration : The LCD full color graphical models areonly available in white.

See Table 1 throughTable 6 for ordering to the NS 8000 Series Network Sensors ProductBulletin (LIT-12013113) for important productapplication and single point of contact and benefits BACnet MS/TP protocol communication:provides compatibility with Metasys systemfield controllers, Facility Explorer programmablecontrollers as well as Verasys and JohnsonControls Smart Equipment in a provencommunication Network . Single and multifunctional Sensors : choosetemperature, RH, CO2, and occupancy sensingdepending on HVAC needs. Large backlit LCD fixed segment display or LCDfull color graphical display on some models:provides real-time status of the environment withbacklighting activated during user interaction. Simple temperature setpoint adjustment orWarmer/Cooler mode available on displaymodels: configure simple setpoint adjustment orWarmer/Cooler mode. Onboard occupancy sensor available on PIRmodels: maximizes up to 30% energy savings inhigh-energy usage environments, and facilitatestrending of floor space usage.

Temporary occupancy included on all displayand Warmer/Cooler models: provides a timedoverride command, which initiates a temporaryoccupancy state. Field-selectable default display setting on displaymodels: toggle between temperature, RH ortemperature setpoint on the display, and set thedesired default for continuous viewing. Fahrenheit/Celsius ( F/ C) selectable on displaymodels: display temperature in degreesFahrenheit or degrees Series Network Sensors Catalog Page All display models meet California Energy Code(Title 24): displays the required State of CaliforniaTitle 24 economizer fault conditions. All display models include a screen lockout:prevents sensor tampering. Serialized Sensors and calibration certificates:obtain factory calibration certificates for informationIf the NS Series Network Sensor fails to operatewithin its specifications, replace the unit.
