Welcome and Announcements; Tithes and Offerings Operation Christmas Child: Samaritan's Purse works with local churches to deliver shoe boxes filled with gifts Offertory, Vicki Leckie to children around the world. Beginning today, we will be collecting sunglasses for the next two weeks. A list of the Choir, Open My Eyes items to be collected is available at the Welcome Desk. Any items being donated can be left in the red tubs in the lobby. Sewing Project Meeting There will be a meeting today Congregational Song, Make Me a Blessing following the Morning Service on the far side of the Auditorium by the organ for anyone interested in helping with a sewing project for the shoeboxes. This will be an opportunity to make Special, Ashley Frey purses for the 10-14 year old girls. We are also in need of 1,200 shoeboxes, whether you purchase shoes and bring in the box or go to a store to see if Sermon, Missionary, Rev.

Samaritan's Purse also has preprinted plastic shoeboxes that can be purchased at Hymn of Invitation, Cleanse Me or you can designate funds in the offering to purchase the shoeboxes ($18 for a pack of 12). This year, we plan to pack 1,600 shoeboxes so we will Prayer & Closing Chorus, Thank You, Lord need $14,400 for postage ($9 per box). This past week, $553. was given for a total of $14,719. We have reached our goal for postage!! Each year, additional items that are needed have Postlude, We Are So Blessed been purchased in the few weeks just prior to the shoeboxes being packed, and there may be a need to purchase shoeboxes. 8 The Church will have a Baby Shower for Heidi Fisher this Friday, June 29th, at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. James and Heidi are awaiting the birth of their daughter in September. All ladies and their daughters are invited to attend the shower. There is a sign up sheet at the Welcome Desk to let us know if you are coming and what dish you wish to bring to pass. Those coming are asked to bring a meat/main dish, side dish or a dessert. The church will provide a cake and the beverages. 9 We'll be meeting at 2 pm for some fun, fellowship, and games. There August 22nd Youth Pastor Jeremy Bowling, Crossroads Baptist will be a bouncer and a Dolphin water slide for both the kids and the adults. Dinner will be served at 4 pm. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, Church, Imlay City, Michigan and bottled water. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass along with a 2- August 29th Pastor Ron Callen, Community Baptist Church, liter or individual bottles of pop, lemonade, or iced tea. There will be a Harrison, Michigan service at 6 pm in the Auditorium. If you are coming, sign up at the Welcome Desk so we can plan appropriately. When you sign up, please indicate the number of hamburgers and hot dogs to be provided for you or The Patriotic Jubilee Luncheon for the Prime your family. There will be no Morning Service this day. 10 Bro. Bob Kahl will bring the message, and there will be lots of special music. Along Ladies Bible Journaling will be Friday, July 6th, from 6 pm to with a great message from God's Word, there will be a delicious lunch 8 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Bible journaling is all about reading and and lots of fun and fellowship so plan to come. studying the Word, letting it lead you to be creative in the ways you memorize and record Scripture. The goal with Bible journaling is to Ladies Eat, Pray, Create will be Friday, July 13th, from experience God's Word in a new way as you spend time with the Lord. No 3 pm to 11 pm. There is no cost for this activity it is just a time set experience necessary. A new technique will be shared at each session. The aside for ladies to get together to work on their own crafts. Feel free class is open to ladies, teen girls, and elementary age girls. Girls in Grades 1 to bring your own snacks; pop will be provided.
