O'Bryan, Edward Obituary Edward Sylvester O'Bryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. O'Bryan, was born in Monroe County. Iowa, April 14, 1878 and died at the home of his parents in Lovilia, Thursday, Feb. 20, 1919, aged 40 years, 10 months and 6 days. On October 24. 1906 he was united in marriage to Margaret Dougherty, to this union was born four children, Thomas, age 11; Edward , age 9; Lucyle, age 7; and Rose who died in infancy. The wife and mother died in 1913, while they were living on a farm in Pleasant township. He also leaves to mourn his departure, a father, mother, four sisters, one brother and other relatives and a host of friends. Mr. O'Bryan had been in poor health for the past two years and had been in the west several months, seeking relief. The funeral services were held at St. Peter's Catholic church, Lovilia, Saturday, Feb. 22nd. Burial was made in the Catholic at Albia.
