1 LATEST AMENDMENT IN EXIM POLICY 31st March, 2014 ON line APPLICATION FOR EODC / REDEMPTION FOR advance authorisation . DGFT has announced that 1st June, 2014, there shall be on line filing for EODC / REDEMPTION of advance authorisation and DFIA. The guidelines are as under: Filing of applications for grant of EODC / REDEMPTION I. Physical Exports (EDI Shipping Bills only) For all Shipping Bills on or after Online APPLICATION / filing for EODC is mandatory. For Shipping Bills prior to Online APPLICATION / filing for EODC is not mandatory (because the shipping bills may not have been transmitted to DGFT electronically) II.
2 Physical Exports (Non-EDI Shipping Bills) For all Non-EDI Shipping bills manual filing will continue as these Shipping Bills have not been transmitted electronically to DGFT. III. Deemed Exports Details of Deemed Export supplies to be fed in EODC System on- line on DGFT website. The EODC / REDEMPTION letter containing the details of shipping bills will be transmitted electronically to Customs and authorisation Holders. RELAXATION FOR IMPORT OF STEEL AND STEEL PRODUCT DGFT has announced that quality certification should be either from a product certification body as per applicable international standard (ISO Guide 65/ISO 17065) by an accreditation body which is a signatory to the Mutual Recognition Arrangement of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF); or certification for each consignment from an inspection body which is duly accredited as per ISO:17020 by any accreditation body which is signatory to the Mutual Recognition Arrangement of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC); or Quality certification from the quality certification body recognized in the country of origin by international organisations, such as the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) or European Union or Central Boiler Board of India.
5 EXPORT POLICY OF ONIONS The Government has announced that the export of onions shall be free with immediate effect and there shall no requirement of minimum export price for the same. ANTI DUMPING DUTY ON PLAIN MEDIUM DENSITY FIBRE BOARD. Government of India has decided to continue anti-dumping duty on Plain Medium Density Fibre Board of thickness 6 mm and above for all imports originating in or exported from people s Republic of China, Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka. This anti-Dumping Duty is continued and shall be remain in force up to 10th March, 2019. ANTI DUMPING DUTY ON META PHENYLENE DIAMINE (MPDA). Government of India has levied anti-dumping duty on Meta Phenylene Diamine (MPDA) (ITC) HS code 2921 51 20 & 2921 51 90) imported from product originating in or exported from Republic of China.

ANTI DUMPING DUTY ON SODIUM NITRATE Government of India has levied anti-dumping duty on Sodium Nitrate (ITC) HS code 3102 50 00) imported from product originating in or exported from the European Union, the Peoples Republic of China, Ukraine and Korea RP. This anti-Dumping Duty is continued and shall be remain in force up to18th September, 2014. ANTI DUMPING DUTY ON RED PHOSPHOROUS EXCLUDING RED PHOSPHOROUS USED IN ELECTRONIC applications .
8 Government of India has levied anti-dumping duty on Red Phosphorous, excluding red phosphorous used in electronic applications (ITC) HS code 2804 70 20) imported from product originating in or exported from the Peoples Republic of China.
