" Changing Backhoe buckets. Loading equipment into front bucket Obtain help moving buckets into position if it cannot be done mechanically. Obtain help to load/unload front bucket. Tie down securely when travelling with equipment in the front bucket Crush risk between the Backhoe arm and the body of the tractor. Crush risk in the front bucket load and tilt mechanisms Crush between the front bucket and a hard surface such as a wall or vehicle Ensure all personnel are clear of the Backhoe when operating Ensure that crush point stickers are attached at crush points Never stand between the Backhoe and a hard surface while the Backhoe is moving Striking of personnel or pedestrians Ensure all personnel and pedestrians are clear of the Backhoe Personnel struck by objects falling from bucket whilst loading truck Ensure all personnel are clear of the Backhoe and truck Mobile Plant !

Clean windows and mirrors as required to ensure good visibility in all conditions Risk of Plant Overturning Do not operate plant across slopes steeper than 1 in 5. Bench slope if necessary. Risk of lifting attachments failure WWL marked on Dipper Arm Check weight of item to be lifted. Use only approved hooks, shackles chains and slings attached to lifting attachment. Check tags to ensure within inspection date Check that lifting attachment weld is not cracked. Risk of load falling Attach rope(s) to steady load if required.
