TheOpticom Model 754E Phase Selector is aplug-in, four-channel, dual-priority, encodedsignal device designed for use with Opticomemitters and detectors. Both meet CErequirements. Opticom models 752E and 754 Eare powered by an external 24 VDC powersupply and contain their own internal powersupply to support Opticom detectors.

2 Opticom Model 760E Card Rack is Model 739 Detector Cable isrequired to connect either Opticom phaseselector to any Opticom detector. Opticom models 752E and 754E recognize anddiscriminate among three distinct Opticomemitter frequency rates via Opticomdetectors: high priority, low priority andprobe frequency. Within each of these threefrequency rates, the Opticom phase selectorsfurther discriminate among 10 classes ofvehicle identification codes, with 1,000individual vehicle codes per class 10,000total per frequency rate. Opticom models 752E and 754E internallyrecord each activation of the System .

4 Optional interface software isavailable for System setup and primary Opticom Detector inputs andpower outputs are on the card edgeconnector. Two additional auxiliary detectorinputs are available for each channel througha front panel connector. The connector alsocontains Signal indication sensing channel delivers a constant output for high-priority activation and a pulsedoutput for low-priority activation. A high-priority Signal received on any channel willoverride any low-priority probe frequency does not place a call request to the Signal controller.
