May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! ALL: May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! May he remember all your offerings and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! (..Pause for ) Leader: May he grant you your heart s desire and fulfill all your plans!

2 May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! ALL: Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. 2 THANK YOU FOR COMING TO CHURCH TODAY . Leader: Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. ALL: O Lord, save the king! HYMN OF Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing .. UMH No. 400 *SCRIPTURE reading .. John 15: 1-11 (ESV) Leader: I am the true vine, and my father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. ALL: Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.

3 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. Leader: I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. ALL: If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. Leader: If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. I m trying something Look over the Sign Up Here board, directly across from the drinking fountain. There are several opportunities to have fun, help out and be an active member of our Faith Family! SUMMER YOUTH EVENTS Starting in june UMYF will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 5 7 This youth fellowship is open to all kids going into 7th through 12th grade. Bring your friends; bring your family ! RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE Friday, june 29 from 8 to noon, Christian Assembly (900 14th Ave. SE, Waseca) is hosting a blood drive. Bring photo id or donor card. Walk-ins are welcome; or to schedule your donation time, visit WASECA COUNTY FAIR IS July 11 15.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL North Waseca Lutheran Church (40430 County Road 73, Waseca) is hosting their annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 4 6:30 The menu includes: hot pork sandwiches/sloppy joes, baked beans, potato salad, homemade pie, ice cream and lemonade/coffee.
