The instructions on the following pages have been written with this in mind, to give the operator a better understanding of the various problems which may arise, and the manner in which these problems can best be solved or avoided.

7 Procedure in the Preventive Maintenance Section must be set up and followed by the owner and operator to obtain dependable service and long life from the engine. Owners and operators are expected to perform these maintenance procedures as outlined under the daily schedule as well as 50-hr., 250-hr., and 5OO-hr. periods WHILE IN THE WARRANTY PERIOD AS WELL AS DURING THE LIFE OF THE ENGINE. Warranty service does not include tune-up of the engine such as replacing spark plugs, distributor points, tappet settings, ignition timing, ignition wiring, air cleaner service and lubrication and filter maintenance.

8 The operator is cautioned against the use of any parts, other than Genuine Wisconsin Motors, LLC Continental Parts for replacement or Repair . These parts have been engineered and tested for their particular job, and the use of any other parts may result in unsatisfactory performance and short engine life.
