3 !WARNINGGENERALThe high wall fan coil unit provides quiet, maximum comfort. Inaddition to cooling and/or heating, the high wall fan coil unitmatched with an outdoor condensing unit filters and dehumidifiesthe air in the room to provide maximum : The high wall fan coil unit should be installed byauthorized personnel only; using approved tubing and technical assistance, service or repair is needed, contact theinstaller. The high wall fan coil unit can be set up and operated from theremote control (provided). If the remote is misplaced, the systemcan be operated from the Auto setting on the Modes:The high wall fan coil unit has five operating modes:SFan onlySAutoSHeating (heat pump models only)SCoolingSDehumidification (DRY)Fan OnlyIn Fan Only mode, the system filters and circulates the room airwithout changing room air Auto mode, the system automatically cools or heats the roomaccording to the user selected set : Auto mode is recommended for use on Single Zoneapplications only.

4 Using Auto changeover on multi zoneapplications could set an indoor unit to STANDBY mode,indicated with two dashes ( ) on the display, which will turn offthe indoor unit until all the indoor units are in the same mode(Cooling or Heating ). Heating is the system s priority Heating and Cooling is not Heating mode, the system heats and filters the room Cooling mode, the system cools, dries and filters the room (DRY)In Dehumidification mode, the system dries, filters and slightlycools the room air temperature. This mode prioritizes airdehumidification but it does not take the place of a Remote ControlThe remote control transmits commands to set up and operate thesystem. The control has a window display panel that displays thecurrent system status.
