LE9 3AD Website: This Parts & Price List is for use by members of THE VELOCETTE Owners club JANUARY 2019 EDITION The parts that appear in this list are either in stock or they are shown as On order or Hoping to be reordered soon , based on the stock position at the time of printing. Where a part is listed as Hoping to reorder soon it is because a source is available, but either other parts are a greater priority for the currently available VSL volunteers or the part is believed to be readily available from the remaining Velocette parts suppliers as listed in the Contacts page of the club s website.

2 New issues expected monthly - see them first on Part number VSL376 Revised 21 December 2018 Price The Velocette Owners club set up Veloce Spares Limited to help its members to keep on riding. It is ONLY AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS, therefore ALL ORDERS MUST INCLUDE YOUR MEMBERSHIP NUMBER. Using the VSL SALES List The original Velocette part number is used to identify the part wherever possible. Parts should be ordered by this part number, and VSL's SALES List is mainly in part number sequence. In addition, many special parts have been made at the request of members.

3 These all have a part number starting VSL and they are clearly identified in the SALES List. It is therefore essential that you have a copy of the original Velocette Spare Parts List publication for your motorcycle. A copy of the original Velocette publication not only enables you to identify the part, but also, for models since the mid-1950's, it shows you how to assemble the parts correctly. Reprints of most of the original Velocette Spare Parts List publications are available from VSL, as are copies of the original Velocette Service Manuals.

4 In the VSL SALES List - Part Numbers VSL102/ are Service Manuals, Part Numbers VSL104/ are Spares lists . Please note that the presence of a part in the VSL SALES List does not mean it is currently on the shelf. Although most items are in stock, parts are bought or made in batches and this can only be done when the minimum order quantity is justified. Use the appropriate Order Form Your order should be entered on the appropriate VSL Order Form Order by Part Number not just by Description This makes the biggest single contribution to efficient use of our volunteers time.

5 Any other method wastes precious time as they try and work out what you want, and if they guess wrong then everyone s time is wasted. PLEASE INCLUDE DETAILS OF MODEL AND YEAR Ordering by Post Simply post your order to Veloce Spares Ltd, The Old Chapel, Cheney End, Huncote, Leicester LE9 3AD UK Ordering by e-mail Orders sent by e-mail must not contain your full Credit or Debit card number. Instead, you need to register your Card Number with VSL before e-mailing subsequent orders. For information on how to register and how to download a Registration Form see the VSL Website ( ).

6 VSL will confirm your registration by e-mail including all the information you need to order by e-mail. Once you have received confirmation of your registration you can use your word processor to complete and send your order. Post and Pack Post and pack is extra on all orders. Postage & Packing will be charged at cost once the parts have been packed and weighed. Payments Credit and Debit cards are strongly preferred. Maestro, Visa Credit and Debit, and MasterCard Credit and Debit are accepted. In addition to your Card Number and Expiry Date and your Name & Address it is necessary for you to provide the three digit Security Code from your card.

7 It is usually on the back, near to the signature block, and possibly near to a repeat of all or part of your card number. If you have to use a cheque the payee should be " Veloce Spares Ltd" (not VOC ). For Mail Orders the cheque must be open as in this example or unfortunately it will have to be returned. The cheque must be endorsed with "Not to exceed xx" rather than a specific amount. The endorsement must be written vertically within the crossed, A/C payee area. VSL can then complete the amount once the postage costs or price changes have been taken into account. Important note: VSL regrets that current Bank charges mean that your cheque to VSL must be for at least 10.

8 If your bill is less than 10 then you will receive a Credit Note for the difference. This Credit will appear automatically on your next bill. Delivery Please remember that the Spares Company is run entirely by volunteers. Volunteers deal with all the orders received by post, fax or e-mail on one day each week (usually a Thursday) and so you should allow for this when anticipating delivery. The Old Chapel does not have any permanent staff, so communication by telephone is not normally possible. Sensible Use of Parts Please note that it is the user's responsibility to ensure that the part is suitable for the intended use.

9 Many of our replacement parts are precision manufactured on 'modern' CNC machines, but in some circumstances may still require a degree of skill when being installed on our elderly machines to achieve a satisfactory fit. Veloce Spares Limited and the Velocette Owners ' club cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or claims occurring through the use of parts or information provided and (save for death or personal injury arising from negligence) all such liability is hereby excluded. Huncote Spares Open Days: - Opening time is 9:30 am to pm with no break at lunchtime.

Although it is surrounded by the M1, M69 and M6 it is not "on the motorway". Please note that junction 2 of the M69 does not have an exit for those traveling towards Leicester; instead leave at junction 1 and go down the A5 then up the B4114 until you see the signs to Croft.
