6 IMPORTANT CHECK THATGUARD MISSING DECALONSTEEL TUBE UNDER INNER GUARD ANDROTATING DRIVELINE DECALON OUTERGUARD ARE FIRMLY AFFIXED, UNDAMAGEDAND READABLE- IF NOT, REPLACE. GUARDS MUST ROTATE FREELY ON YOKESPART NO.: 13-10022 PART NO.: 13-10021 FOR USE ONIMPLEMENT ENDONLYSAFETYSECTION3 EASY LOCK GUARD SYSTEMC lean and grease bearing racewaybefore the nylon bearing is placed inthe groove. Grease any remainingnylon bearings in the nylon bearing until it engagesinto the Easy Lockclip into nylon bearing and guard arenow secure. GUARDS MUST ROTATEFREELY ON guard half over driveline andinsert nylon bearing tabs into theopenings in the FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF EASY LOCK GUARDS5TO REMOVE GUARD - Use screwdriver to release Easy Lock clip. Both profiletubes should extend 40-mm ( ") beyondthe end of the guard tubes. Reassemble driveline halves together making sure they slide (telescope) easilyand ensure guards rotate freely on DrivelineExisting Driveline3 Remove guard from driveline. Separate drivelinehalves. Shorten guard halves (Pic. 1) and profiletube halves (Pic. 2) same as existing drivelinehalves or see example :If overall replacement driveline length dimension is 48" (See A), and your existing overall driveline length dimension is 42" (See B), the amount to shorten EACH driveline half would be 6".
