1 PATTAYA blue BAHT BUS ROUTES The following is the general pattern that baht busses travel - If the driver should change from your expected routing, it may be necessary to get off, pay, and then catch another baht bus going the direction you want to travel. Main Circuit Most baht buses at some point will follow the main circuit. All the roads on the main circuit are one way for the direction shown below: East on South Road to Second Road. North on Second Road to North Road. West on North Road to Beach Road. South on Beach Road to South Road. Going east on South Road to Second Road At Second Road, most baht busses will turn left onto Second Road.
2 However, sometimes they may continue east on South Road going toward Third Road or they may turn right going to Jomtien. Going north on Second Road from South Road Most baht busses will continue north on Naklua Road from the Dolphin Roundabout (Second Road and North Road intersection). However, sometimes they may turn east at Central Road or they may proceed to North Road and turn either east toward Third road or west toward Beach road. If they turn west to Beach Road, they will continue on the main circuit until they reach the South Road/Second Road intersection. Going south on Naklua Road Most baht busses will turn west on North Road at the Dolphin Roundabout and will follow the main circuit until they reach the South Road and Second Road intersection.
3 However, sometimes they may turn east onto North Road going toward Third Road. Going north on Jomtien Beach Road Most busses go north until they reach Thappraya Road - where they must turn right. They will then continue on Thappraya Road going under the Third Road overpass to the intersection with Pratumnak Road. There, they will turn right onto Pratumnak Road going north to South Road (at South Road, Pratumnak Road becomes Second Road). At South Road, they will most often continue north on Second Road. However, not very often, they may turn right on South Road going east toward Third Road. Going to Jomtien Beach Road from South Road/Second Road intersection Next to the school yard at the South Road/Second Road intersection, there will usually be a line of parked baht busses.
4 The driver will wait until the baht bus is full before departing - they tend to fill rather quickly. These busses will go south on Pratumnak Road turning left onto Thappraya Road - continuing on to Jomtien Beach Road where they must turn south on Jomtien Beach Road. Dongtan Police substation is located at this intersection. Most baht busses will go south on Jomtien Beach Road as far as Chaiyapruk Road. East/West between Second Road and Sukhumvit Road Baht busses travel regularly in both directions on South Road, Central Road, and North Road.
