2 PCC Valtaco ball valves have endpieces available in NPT, socketweld, buttweldand custom wide range of materials allow selection ofthe proper seat and seals for the mostdemanding applications including pressures to3400 psi, and temperatures in excess of 600 the chemical resistance, pressureand temperature requirements of yourapplication and select from virgin PTFE, glassor carbon reinforced PTFE, PEEK, Delrin , andVespel for optimum Valve Valtaco utilizes a fully encapsulated bodyseal design creating a mechanical seal thatoperates effectively independent of linepressure and flow direction.

3 By supporting theseal on all sides, this design results in aconsistent contact sealing load throughout thelife of the Valve by preventing cold flow ofmaterial into the bore as experienced in non-encapsulated seal better to ensure smooth contact of theseating surfaces and prevents build up ofcontaminants in hygienic applications. Thesolid 316SS ball ensures the highest integrityof corrosion and pressure resistance for yourcritical inserting the stem from inside the bodybore, PCC Valtaco valves are designed to beblowout proof and greatly improve the safetyof your springs provide a constant loadingof the stem seal system to compensate forthermal expansion and contraction, and belleville springs are precision engineeredand manufactured for PCC Valtaco to ensurelong-term consistent performance.

4 This systemautomatically adjusts itself to prevent leakagethrough the stem area of the Valtaco employs a unique "locking cap"design that guarantees the stem nut will remainsecure and maintain the proper load on thebelleville springs. This is especially critical inhigh cycle applications where conventionaldesigns allow the stem nut to loosen resulting instem leakage. This unique locking cap allowsfor trouble free operation regardless of thenumber of for easy automation, especially themounting of PCC actuators. With the ISO 5211 mountingpad, the Series 17i is easilyadapted for automation byPCC TechTorq actuators. Sizes range from " to 2" andavailable in both carbon andstainless steel body material. Heat jacketed valves areavailable from PCC Valtaco Series15iHM and 26HM in sizes from 'to 6". The integral thermal jacketkeeps heat loss to an absoluteminimum because the heat sourceis kept in close proximity to thecritical areas of the Valve .
