6 A maximum of one nomination per workforce member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one grant per nominated organisation may be awarded. Organisation eligibility To be eligible to apply, nominated organisations must meet all of the following criteria: 1. Be a not-for-profit organisation;. 2. Have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) with a not-for-profit status;*. 3. Be located in and provide services within australia ; and 4. Have a bank account in its name. Individuals, sole traders and educational institutions are not eligible to apply. We do not accept auspice arrangements. Government entities are not eligible to apply, unless they are managed by community representatives for community use and benefit (such as Country Fire Authority branches, local hall management committees etc.)

Project eligibility We are seeking projects that deliver community benefit. Eligible organisations can apply for funding for eligible projects such as: Equipment, supplies Community events Website development or materials, including Training Newsletters and bulletins electronic equipment ( First Aid, English as a And more. 8 There are a few areas that aren't eligible for funding: Individuals General operating costs such as rent, power, General donations with no specific benefit salaries or insurance Fundraising, including fundraiser events Organisations or activities that support gambling, political or religious associations or events Travel expenses High-risk events or activities Postage and delivery / courier services Activities that damage or harm the environment Projects where the primary activity involves alcohol, drug or tobacco use Expenses that have already been incurred or that will have been incurred by the time funding is given Projects/programs that discriminate or exclude members of the community Capital improvements Projects undertaken for commercial gain Projects that are implemented outside of australia or benefit Projects with a total cost of $5,000 or more.

Instructions for australia post workforce How to nominate Step 1: Contact the organisation you want to support Contact the not-for-profit organisation you would like to support and ask if they have a project that's eligible and if they would be happy for you to nominate them. Check that the organisation is a not-for-profit and ask them for: 1. The name/description of the project that would benefit from a grant of up to $500. 2. Details of the relevant contact at the organisation (phone and email). 3. Their organisation's ABN. Let the organisation know that, if they are deemed eligible by australia post , they will also need to complete an online application form in order to be considered for a grant.

10 The only way they can access the application form will be via a link in an email from australia post inviting them to apply. Step 2: Complete the nomination form Complete the nomination form at , you'll need to create a user name and password, by AEDT on 7 March 2021. You'll need: 1. Information about you a.
