He was born Aug. 25, 1956 in Logan, to Amos Jr. and Nina Jo (Moore) Cantrell. Ronald attended North Miami High School and was a surveyor with John Stephens in Wabash. 2 He was a Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed singing karaoke. He is survived by son, Ronnie Lancaster, Macy; a daughter, Lacey Phillips and husband William, Peru; his father and step mother, Amos Cantrell Jr. and wife Polly, Wabash; two grandchildren, Dalin Phillips and Analey Phillips, both of Peru; three brothers, Donald Lee Cantrell and wife Kristy, Darrell Ray Cantrell and wife Ty-Ann, and John David Cantrell, all of Wabash; two sisters, Ilah Ann Paige and husband Norman, Pensacola, Fla., and Lisa Hayslip, Wabash; several nieces and nephews, and Max, his dog.

3 He was preceded in death by his mother in 1979. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash, on Tuesday at 10 , with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call from 6 to 8 Monday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Preferred memorial is to the Animal Shelter of Wabash County. The memorial guest book for Ronald may be signed at Richard Paul Draper, 70, Warsaw, passed away at 6:15 Friday, Jan.

4 2, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw. He was born July 23, 1938 in Roann to Paul and Margaret Alice (McElwee) Draper. was a 1956 graduate of Roann High School. He was a former owner of the Highland Hills Golf Course in Roann, the Sycamore Golf Club in North Manchester, and served as vice president at the State Exchange Bank in Roann 25 years. He was a member of the Wabash Elks Lodge, the Hanna Masonic Lodge of Wabash and the Fort Wayne Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine. Mr. Draper was also a former member of the Roann Merchants Association, the Roann Town Board, and longtime treasurer of Rolanco and Roann Condominium Association.

5 He was one of the founders of the Roann Senior Citizen Apartments. He is survived by his son, Jeff Draper and wife Beth, Noblesville; two daughters, Jennifer Draper, Warsaw, and Jeannine Cooley, Roann; four grandchildren, Rebecca Cooley, Roann, Kyle Draper, Noblesville, Paige Cooley, Roann, and Lauren Draper, Noblesville; his sister, Ruth Early and husband Levoy, Roann; two brothers, James Draper, Fairfield Glade, Tenn., and Phillip Draper and wife Sherry, Roann; and his special friend, Ruth Harris, Warsaw.

6 Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 335 S. Chippewa Road, Roann, on Monday at 10:30 , with Pastor David Laborde officiating. Burial will be in the Roann Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 Sunday at the funeral home. 7 Fern, 100, of Peru, Indiana passed away at 7:30 on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Scottsburg, Ind. on May 28, 1908, the daughter of George and Estelle Carr. Dorothy grew up on a farm near Elwood, Ind., and married Russell Fern on June 1, 1929. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1995. Dorothy lived on East Hartman Road in Anderson for 62 years, and worked at Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson She attended Shiloh Friends Church in Elwood.

8 She and her husband Russell, lovingly raised two sons. She was well known in her Anderson community for making wonderful pies, and always had a pie ready for guests. She enjoyed working in her garden and canning the produce she grew. Survivors include two sons, Keith Fern and wife Barbara of Rochester, Ind., and Riverview, Fla.; their two sons, Brian Fern and his wife Marcella of Warner Robins, Ga. and their children, Corrynn, Kyler, Christian and Brayden; and Scott Fern of Indianapolis; a son, Donald Fern and his wife Janice of Peru and Naples, Fla.

9 ; and their three children, Matthew Fern and his wife Jacqueline of Woodland Hills, Calif., and their daughter Gabriella; Mark Fern and his wife Jennifer of Reading, Pa., and their sons Kyle and Chandler; and Melissa Rohde and her husband of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Glen and Jay Carr. A service celebrating the life of Dorothy Fern will be held at 3 Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main in Peru, with Pastor Steven Ailes officiating.

10 Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 on Sunday. Graveside services will be held at 11 Monday, January 5, 2009 at Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church. Monday, January 05, 2009 Karl H. Hewitt Sr., 66, Kokomo, passed away at 12:45 Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at his home. He was born March 16, 1942 in Tipton to Gerald and Dollie (Willey) Hewitt. Survivors include his wife, Donna (Jaros) Hewitt; three sons, Karl Hewitt Jr.
