PFS - I-JOIST TO MASONRY - PERPENDICULAR

restraint straps PFS - I-JOIST TO MASONRY - PERPENDICULAR . The PFS is a single piece, galvanised steel strap , designed to provide enhanced performance and greater flexibility of use. It exceeds the performance of the traditional 30 x 5mm lateral restraint strap . Its shallow depth means it can run on the surface of traditional timber joists without the need for notching. When you combine its improved strength, lighter weight, increased corrosion resistance (G600 material) and ease of use, specification of PFS. the Cullen PFS strap becomes the preferred choice for all restraint strap applications. MATERIAL. mm galvanised mild steel G600. Also available in mm austenitic stainless steel Grade 304. UNDERSIDE FIXED SURFACE FIXED. Option A. PFS strap surface run over the top of I-Joists using cut I-Joists as full depth noggins supported on C-clips or skew nailed where permitted.
