9 Beforeservicing unit, make sure the start---run stopswitch is in the OFF position. Also disconnectthe negative battery model NDA configuration is a one piece, self---contained, fully charged, pre---wired, refrigeration---heating nosemount diesel powered unit for use oninsulated trailers to maintain cargo temperatures from--- 2 0_Fto+80_F ( to + ). The model/serialnumber plate is located inside of the unit on the rearf r a m e a s s h o w n i n F i g u r e 1 --- 1 .The evaporator fits into a rectangular opening in theupper portion of the trailer front wall. When installed, the evaporator section is located inside the trailer; andthe condensing section is outside and on the front of condensing unit consistsof anengine---compres-sor drive package, condenser fan, condenser/radiatorcoil, control panel, control box, refrigerant controls, pip-ing, wiring, defrost air switch, and associated evaporator assembly consists of an evaporatorcoil, evaporator fan, expansion valve, two defrost ther-mostats (termination switches), defrost damper, heat ex-changer (Advantage only) and a damper solenoid.
10 Thelocation of the thermostatsare shownin Figure air sensor is also shown in Figure accomplishedby circulatinghot gasdirect-lyfrom thecompressor tothe evaporatorcoil. Threeelec-tric solenoid valves control the refrigerant circuit toimprove the operating reliability of the heating evaporator coil defrosting is initiated byeither sensing the air pressure drop across the coil with adifferentialairswitchorwiththebuilt---i n timerin control box and panel include manual switches, microprocessor with light emitting diodes (LED), amme-ter, fuses, and associated wiring. Also, the model NDA isequipped with a remote light bar as standard is mounted separately on the front roadside corner ofthe temperature controller is a microprocessor solidstate controller (Refer to section ).
