End of module quizzes assist participants in assessing their learning. The Training is designed so that it is easy to start, stop and continue.

The following is information about the process and Training platform: 1. Copyright and Confidentiality Agreement: When you first log into the platform, you will be asked to read and agree that, unless given permission to do so, you will not use the Training material for anything other than your personal learning; and to preserve the privacy and confidentiality of the other people in your cohort. 4. Learning Pod: You will be going through the Training with several other people in small groups called Learning Pods . Even though you will be proceeding through the Training at your own pace, you will have opportunities to make connections with your pod group. This is done through participation on the Discussion Board : Information that is put into the Discussion Board is available for all participants in your learning pod to see. You will see a red dot on the Discussions tab when new comments are submitted. Check back regularly to see comments made by other participants or your facilitator.

3 Some activities are private. Information that is put into your Journal is limited to you and your facilitation Training team. Remember to check back regularly into your Journals to read and respond to comments from your facilitator. The Personal Reflection space is a place where you can process your learning privately. No one else sees this and you can print if you want to keep it for future reference. 5. Access Issues: a. Occasionally there may be some interruption to access to the Training platform. Please try again in a few minutes. b. If you experience any difficulties with viewing videos or downloading activities, this means that there may be some underlying computer capacity issues. We ask for your patience as we work to help you resolve them. i. As a first step, please check the log-in site to ensure your computer has the proper versions of Internet Explorer (8+) and Flash (9+) these will be indicated by green check marks.

4 You will need to get these upgraded or the videos and activities that use Flash will not display properly. 2 ii. For other problems please refer to the frequently asked questions located at: or contact your facilitator. 6. Contact with the Facilitators: This is a facilitated Training . This means that you will go through the Training with the support of a facilitator and guidance from an instruction team. The facilitator will provide feedback throughout the Training activities and is an important resource for everyone. Information about accessing your facilitator can be found in the Welcome Email or the Message Tab. 7. Access to Training Platform: This Training is accessed via an online format. It is a password protected site and each participant has their own account. Please do not share this access with others. 5 NOTE: if you did not register yourself, please go to Please follow the links on the log-in page if you are having problems logging in. Once you are into the platform, and have signed the Confidentiality and Copyright agreement, you will be taken to your profile page where you will be required to complete all of the fields. You have the option to be anonymous throughout the Training activities and can change your public display name if necessary. Please do not change your full name as we will then be unable to know that you are on the platform. 8. Certificate of Completion: The certificate of completion will be available for download after the group closes. Please log back into and follow the links for your certificate. Finally, we want to let you know that we are honoured you have been able to participate in this Training program. We are excited to be able to offer this Training and look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the next eight weeks.
