8 Keep the spill out of all sewers and open bodies General InformationPoast herbicideis a selective, broad spectrum, poste-mergence herbicide for control of annual and perennialgrass weeds. Poastdoes not control sedges or broadleafweeds. Essentially, all grass crops, such as sorghum,corn, small grains, and rice, as well as ornamental grass-es, such as turf (except Creeping Red, Chewings, andHard Fescue), are susceptible to of ActionPoastrapidly enters the target weed through its foliageand translocates throughout the plant. The effects rangefrom slowing or stopping growth (generally within 2 days),to foliage reddening and leaf tip burn. Subsequently,foliage burnback may occur.
