3 TAQA has operations in the UAE, Canada, Ghana, India, Iraq, Morocco, the Netherlands, oman , Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and the United 2020, a historic transaction between TAQA and Abu Dhabi Power Corporation (ADPower) brought the majority of Abu Dhabi s power and water generation, transmission and distribution assets under single management for the first time. This transaction made TAQA one of the largest utilities companies in the GCC. We are a purpose-led business with a clear sense of the values for which we stand and the FUTURE we want to help to create. 5 In July 2020, ADPower (our majority shareholder) combined a significant number of its assets with those of TAQA to create a single integrated utility business with the scale, financial capability and expertise to play a decisive role in leading the transition to clean energy sources in Abu Dhabi and beyond.
