3. We can be instructed by examples of godly people who prayed! The Bible has many such examples. The Apostles early emphasized prayer's importance to the early church when they said: "But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word." (Acts 6:4). All of these examples have been recorded for our benefit today.
