Steps For Proper Cleaning Do not spray harsh chemicals, ie. brake clean, carburetor cleaner, into or on the bearings. Simply wipe the exterior dirt away with a clean rag. Do not pressure wash or blow with compressed air. Only clean your bearings when they become contaminated and dirt enters the inside of the Bearing . Excessive cleaning will not make the Bearing perform better. To clean the inside of the Bearing , simply remove only one side of the exterior shield, shown above. Next, use Mineral Spirits to clean all the dirt out of the inside of the bearings. Then, use Denatured Alcohol to remove the residue left from the Mineral Spirits. Now, place 3-5 drops of PRC Ceramic Bearing oil into the Bearing .

2 Do not over lube the For Proper Reassembly To reassemble your Ceramic Bearing , you will need the PRC Bearing Shield. (Part No. 1115519) After removing the Outer shield and Inner seal of one side of the Bearing , you will notice that they will not fi t back into the Bearing correctly. Unfortunately, after removal they will become deformed and should not be forced back into place. Instead, simply install the PRC Removable Bearing Shield (Part No. 1115519,) shown below.
