While some early production nuts were machined from steel, the current nut design utilizes powdered metal construction and is slightly thicker than the steel nut it replaces. Using the larger powdered metal nut (Figure 1) in applications for which it was not intended can result in interference with the Compatibility is listed in the table on the following pages.

The additional thickness could lead to interference between the Hubcap and powdered metal nut system. If the powdered metal nut in this kit is intended to replace the machined steel nut, use the below table to ensure Hubcap Compatibility .
