7 Cap and base slides over shaft. The shaft rests on the floor. PermaCast columns used outside should not be painted using dark colors . Split columns are not load bearing. Pre-drill column prior to installing screws. Automotive body filler works great for minor repairs. When ordering a cap and base set, the Tuscan model is shipped unless otherwise individual cap and base Pricing , refer to pages 9, 10, & 11 .All Round PermaCast Columns can now be custom fluted.
