1 PROCEDURE FOR GETTING AGRICULTURAL SERVICE connection AGRICULTURAL SERVICE connections are effected every year based on the target given by the Government and based on the application registration seniority. The applicant should fill up the application as per the format enclosed. The following documents should be attached along with the application. 1. Ownership Certificate issued by Village Administrative Officer (VAO). The VAO should certify that the land and the well owned by the applicant. 2. Sketch showing the location of the well issued by 3. Chitta, Adangal 4. Patta/Sale Deed. 5. If the well is located near, the well/bore well of the Government, river bed area, Hydro Electric Project area then necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC) should be obtained from the Government Project officials concerned. 6. The owner of the well should sign in the application form.

2 If there are more than one owner, then all of them should sign (or) NOC may be given by other owners to effect SERVICE in any one of the owner name. 7. The filled up application form along with above mentioned documents should be submitted at the Executive Engineer/Operation and Maintenance Office of the jurisdiction concerned. For registering the application has to be paid. After registering the application an acknowledgement mentioning the registration number and date of registration will be given to the applicant. A. Free AGRICULTURAL SERVICE connection is being given to the following categories and the Board is bearing entire estimate cost. i. Normal :- Any one can apply in this case. ii. Jeevandhara Scheme:- This scheme is applicable for Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) and Non SC/ST.

3 Necessary certificate stating the well is dug under Jeevandhara Scheme should be obtained from Block Development Officer. iii. Every year, 150 Nos. services are given totally to Widows, Physically Challenged, , Scheduled Tribes and Intercaste Married people under special priority scheme. The above target has been increased to 250 vide Government letter dt. by including Serving Defence Personnel and Para Military Force under this special priority category. To get supply under this scheme, the application along with relevant documents should be submitted to Superintending Engineer/Rural Electrification and Improvement (Distribution), TNEB, 4th floor, Western wing, NPKRR Malaigai, 144, Anna Salai, Chennai-600 002 for registering in this special priority category. The application of , Serving Defence Personnel and Para Military Force will be registered at Additional Director, Welfare Department, , Raja Muthiah Salai, On receiving application from the Welfare Department supply will be effected under special priority.

4 The application will be considered only after the completion of one year from the date of registration at Executive Engineer/O&M office. iv. Under TAHDCO scheme supply will be effected to SC/ST women beneficiaries based on the list furnished by TAHDCO/Government of Tamil Nadu. v. Under 2 Acres Land Distribution Scheme supply will be effected on receipt of applications from concerned department. vi. Supply will be effected on priority to sitting MP s/MLA s for the land owned by them only one time. vii. In the Fast Track supply scheme, supply will be effected on priority to Adi Dravidars based on the list furnished by TAHDCO/Government of Tamil Nadu. viii. For the BC/MBC & DC category supply will be effected on priority based on the Government Order and list of beneficiaries furnished by District Collector. B. In order to avail supply quickly, Revised Self Financing Schemes (RSFS) are introduced.
