The longoperational life and reliability of these systems alsoreduce your maintenance costs and applications requiring compliance withenvironmental protection regulations, the uniqueENVIRO-SEAL packing system (figure 5) and, forhazardous service, the ENVIRO-SEAL bellows sealsystem (figure 4) are offered. The emission controlpacking system keeps emission concentrations belowthe EPA 100 ppm an excellent stem seal in applications that are notenvironmentally sensitive, the HIGH-SEAL GraphiteULF packing system (figure 5) is offered.

10 TheHIGH-SEAL packing system provides excellent sealingat pressure/temperature ratings beyond ENVIRO-SEAL limits. ENVIRO-SEAL systems may also be applied forexcellent stem sealing in higher pressure/temperatureapplications not requiring EPA packing systems, available with PTFE,Graphite ULF, or Duplex packing, and the HIGH-SEALG raphite ULF packing system feature live-loading andunique packing-ring arrangements for long-term,consistent sealing YD and YS Valves may be mounted with theactuator in any position relative to the valve, thenormal position is with the valve in a horizontal run ofpipe and the actuator vertical above the valve. Theactuator should be supported in any position otherthan vertical. Orient the valve so that valve plugpositions and flow directions will conform to the flowindicator plate on the valve are shown in figure the NPS 8 high temperature construction, the bottomflange MUST be removed to access and remove the lowercage (see figure 2).
