5 Available for 208, 240/208, 277 or 480-volt operation. One unit can be used for either horizontal or vertical discharge. Specially designed inlet louvers, venturi and outlet diffuser provide uniform air temperature and throw characteristics. Single-phase units, easily converted to three-phase power, are available in to 10 kW for 208 and 240-volt operation. Two-speed fan operation standard on 25 kW through 50 kW units. 60 kW through 100 kW are single speed fan only. ETL listed to meet all requirements of UL listing standards when installed as Electric unit Heaters are ideal for applications ranging from new construction to auxiliary heat to renovation. They are available in 37 models ranging from kW to 100 kW. In addition to a wide capacity range, each compact, attractive unit can be mounted in either a horizontal or vertical discharge Trane Electric unit heater shows its flexibility in installation and operation.

6 Intended for industrial, commercial or institutional use, the Trane Electric unit heater is available for 208 to 480-volt, single or three-phase operation. Units from to 10 kW for 208 and 240-volt operation may be converted easily from single to three-phase operation in the field. Single speed fan on to 20 kW. Two-speed fan operation is available on 25 kW through 50 kW. Single speed only available on 60 kW through 100 kW Air DistributionThe Trane unit heater uniformly directs the air to exactly where it s needed. A specially designed deep-drawn venturi assures uniform air distribution. The outward-drawn venturi channels the air forward for maximum, uniform air throw. Outlet diffusers are provided to properly direct the heated discharge air. In order to minimize the potential for hot spots on the heating coil, inlet louvers evenly distribute intake air over the entire heating Electric unit Heaters are designed with totally enclosed, permanently lubricated industrial motors.

7 The air-over-motor design reduces operating temperatures, promoting long motor life. Compact and completely factory wired, the Trane Electric unit heater requires only a single-source power supply connection. The units are available with factory installed 24-volt control transformers and Louvers - Individually adjust-able from 30 up to 45 and Fan - Totally enclosed, perma-nently lubricated, sealed bearing, all-angle motor and fan combination through 20 kW and two-speed permanent capacitor-type motor on 25 through 50 kW units. 60 through 100 kW units single speed onlyContactors - All units 25 kW to 50 kW are equipped with two contactors and two element banks for either single or two stage heating operation. 60 kW through 100 kW are equipped with four contactors and four element banks for control up to four stage - Element, motor and transformer primary fusing are factory installed and wired where required to NEC.
