PRODUCT data SHEET SP-2 888 DESCRIPTION: SP- 2888 is a range of surface c oating s based on State of the A rt epoxy / urethane che mistry.
2 The urethane polymer is pre-bonded to the e poxy resin rendering the coa ting isoc yana te free . The s ynergistic effect of co-polymerizing epoxy and urethane produces a coating with the superior adhesion and permeability of e poxy along with the added toughness and abrasion resistanc e of urethane. SP- 2888 is available in Brush Grade a nd Spray Grade . SP- 2888 is also ava ilable in Cartridges for coa ting repairs. ADVANTAGES: 100% S olids No VOCs. Isocyana te f ree. Excellent resistance to high temperature cathodic disbonding up to 80 C (176 F). Excellent adhesion to grit blasted steel surfaces, Fusion Bond Epoxy (FBE), a nd Fiber R einforced Plastic (FRP). Excellent abrasion and impact resistance. USES: Internal l ining for pipelines. Exterior coa ting for pipelines in buried or immersed service. Coating of pipe, valves and fittings. Slip bore a nd directional dr illing applications. Girth weld coa tings. APPLICATION: Spr ay G rade: Graco Hydra-Cat - Tip Size.
